Dear Reader,

It’s a pleasure to have you back in 2025. Once again, we get to share the beauty of St. Barths, where nature, culture, and modern life come together in a unique way.

This year, I’m thrilled to welcome someone new to the team. Jeanne Le Menn is a talented young woman whose work and professionalism I truly admire. She played a big part in shaping this issue. From start to finish, she brought her creative energy to the process, and I hope you’ll love the result as much as we do.

The journey begins with a focus on the island’s heritage, along with innovative projects rooted in tradition. We’ll take you through the doors of the Heritage Museum, then out into the open air at the Saline.

After that, it’s time to meet some animals. We’ll visit the goat farm for a hands-on learning moment and stop by the Gouverneur farm for a bit of fun. Surrounded by flowers, we’ll slow things down and explore the world of medicinal plants.

The second part turns toward creativity. Think sunshine, airy fabrics, and jewelry. Jeanne took the lead on the fashion pages and gave them her special touch. Then we’ll introduce you to CEM Art, a brand-new space dedicated to local artists. At Blue Gecko, you can try your hand at ceramics. And Faiza will show you her world of bold, colorful murals. Next, we’ll step into the world of illustration with a look at the Saint-Barths “7 Families” card game. Finally, we’ll take a peek into architecture.

To wrap things up, we’ll treat ourselves to a chocolate dessert and then you will learn how to make the famous traditional Saint-Barth galettes.
