For this 38th edition, we celebrate a return to our roots. After four years of magnificent covers created in collaboration with artists and illustrators, we are returning to photography, an art form that, since the very first edition, has shaped the identity and soul of Discover Magazine. This year’s cover, captured by the talented Cameron Hyman, embodies all the energy, warmth, and diversity of St. Martin.

Within these pages, we invite you to meet the men and women who shape our island. You will discover the farmers of St. Martin, guardians of a craft often overlooked, and explore the fascinating history of local agriculture, a testament to the resilience and creativity of our people.
We also shine a spotlight on young athletes, promising future champions. You will dive into the memoirs of Axel Hubler, a well- known islander, and into the inspiring portraits of personalities whose work makes the island’s diversity and creativity shine far beyond our shores.

We also honor the memory of Jean-Sébastien Lavocat, who for thirty years shared his passion, carried the island’s colors high, and collaborated with Discover Magazine to showcase board sports and local talents.
